Life Lately: Starting #Twenty6

My #25thyear was not as scary as I thought it would be - or as weird. In fact, 25 is (eh..was) a fantastic age - you're not too young or too old. Its as Goldilocks says - "it was just right"!

#Twenty6 is my new hashtag (because I can't help it..) and I am already in love with this year! Who doesn't love working a half week on your birthday?!

I get asked a lot what its like to have a birthday on Valentine's day + honestly, I always have mixed feelings. It can be hard if everyone you know seems to be dating or married, but thankfully my family + friends have always made such a great day!

This year even a few married couples joined our Valentine's dinner (thanks Z+B, M+R!) After turning 26 in Athens at 9Ds (yes, really) I got to brunch with one my friends before she got engaged! I do love a good brunch and I love engagements even more! That night my roommates took me out with our friends for some delicious Italian :-) This past weekend I was home with my family + got to celebrate that my BFF is about to become a mom! Okay, that was weird to type.

Onto Birthday things!!

I love funny cards + these did not disappoint. We spent the morning picking which older lady we were. Also, see those Kendra Scott earrings?!?! My roommates are the best! I wear them at least 100x a week. JK, more like 5 days out of 7. Love Love.
